{Question of the Week XXVIII}

Thank you everyone for your kind comments and emails, they were all greatly appreciated.  I am now trying hard to make a conscience effort not to say bad things about myself and to treat myself better.  I am determined to make this work - I have been living like this too long - and for once in my life I have happiness in it - and I do not want to let it go to waste it with all my negative thoughts & feelings!  I know it will be hard - but what do they say - nothing good comes easy?  Having all of you for support helps, so again, thanks (I can not say it enough!)

Before I get to the question of the week, I have been tagged, twice!

Yvonne tagged me

5 CDS in your player
None!  All my CDs are packed for the big move on Friday!

5 Movies You've Seen Recently
1. Love Actually (again)
2. Pirates of the Caribbean
3. Princess Diaries 2: Royal Engagement (I was up to 3am working from home this past Friday night and nothing else was on, it was actually kinda good)
4. Spanglish, it was okay.
5. Raising Helen - this movie is always on the movie channel I get, it grew on me.

5 Nice Things That Happened To You Lately
1. All the love & support I got from all of you with my recent posts of glum and negativity.
2. Mike bought me a book I was dying to have the weekend it was released, even though I already have read an advanced readers copy of it.
3. Found a talented artist to collaborate with (stay tuned!!)
4. Someone asked me where I studied art after saying my work was beautiful - this is nice because I have not studied art at all.
5. Found the new issue of Selvedge magazine, and yes, spent $20 on it (I just LOVE it)

5 MP3s On Your Playlist
1. Be Still my Heart - The Postal Service

2. Me, Myself & I - Billie Holiday
3. Coming 'Round the Mountain - Kristy Kruger
4. Crown of Love - Arcade Fire
5. Muddy Water - Madeleine Peyroux

5 Friends To Pass This On To
If you already have done this you are exempt... otherwise...

Katy tagged me too - "5 idiosyncrasies..........go!"

1.  I am deathly afraid of spiders (so bad I recently put someone who called from The Netherlands on hold to drown one in bug spray - sorry Yvonne!) I am pretty bad with all bugs actually.  My sister once told me that she never believed in reincarnation until I came along, she was 17 when I was a baby and says that I would freak out in my crib when  bug came near me.

2.  I, until very recently thought the expression, "Nip it in the bud" was "Nip it in the butt".

3.  I get very excited over the littlest things - luckily Mike thinks it's cute, but it always leaves a first impression that I am a bimbo when someone I just met witnesses it.  It also sets me up for lots of teasing from my co-workers and friends.

4. I am a major book geek - I ALWAYS have to know what book I will be reading next - I actually know the next 6 books, in order that I plan to read them at the moment (I, obviously, am an avid reader).  I even have spreadsheet with books I want and books I've already read.

5. I can not stand having my fingernails grow past my fingers - I always have them really short - and of course, since I don't like them long, they grow fast and are practically indestructible!

Which leads to the question of the week - what are some of your idiosyncrasies?

Okay - now I am off to finish packing... Friday is moving day!
