I am a copy kat.  Get it?  I coped Kathleen and made a mosaic of Flickr photos from the New York City Craft Squad meet up.  So I said KAT instead of CAT.  Hee.  Okay, well, you all know I am a dork, but Dawn, Giao, Jes, Kathleen, Leslie and Yvonne got to see me in all my dorky-ness in person this past weekend when we all converged on New York City to meet for the first time.  I was so nervous to meet them, they all knew my biggest fears and weaknesses, they helped me through some of the toughest times in my life, helped me find my creative niche in the world, helped (and still helping) me to see myself positively.  How could I not be nervous?  But as soon as we were all together, it truly was like we had known each other, in person, for ages.

We had only a few days together in the city, but we shopped, took tons of photos, ate great food, went to Be Creative (put on by Country Home Magazine in Central Park), saw Ethan Hawke, meet Alice, and were even serenaded (by collage boys in Speedos nonetheless!)- we had an all around great time!  I am so happy that these creative, wonderful, caring woman have come into my life, and I already look forward to our next meet up!
