I have been an awful blogger recently, no
time to post or read blogs - but I decided the only way I can do it is
to make time. After this, I am off to catch up on everyone's
blogs! Lots to share with you.
The first Paper Relics Newsletter went out, if you did not get it,
to read it. I have some great new items.
This past weekend I went to meet
some newly made online friends that live locally and found me through
Mary Engelbreit's Home
Companion. They were doing a show, an antique/art show and I had
so much fun meeting them. They make amazing things - and I am
trying to get them to start an online shop to share their goodies with
the rest of the word. I picked out some items to buy, but they
refused to let me pay! So I am making them some antique/vintage
paper bundles - which will be easy with all the great stuff I picked up
at the show - I got a couple 1800's books and some other great papers
that I can not wait to start working with and sharing in the bundles
for sale in
the shop.

I also got the most adorable old nooks
and crannies for my craft room.
see the photos with notes on flickr - I just set
them up so they are still being filled, but I love them.
Kim
and I did a little swap and she sent me, among other goodies, this
wonderful Hope rock, which is one of the first things to be placed
within a nook, or maybe it is a cranny, not sure.

Tuala was following me around while I
snapped photos to share - so of course with such cute subject matter
staring right at me, I had to snap a photo of her.
What else... lots of other good things
going on that are still in the works that I hope to share with everyone
by the end of the month... but for now, if any of you still read this
and have not abandoned me and my lack of posting... good night! |
