{goodies!}

I have some new goodies to share with you!

  Alicia made me the most wonderful cagelet only knowing that "I like pink and blue".  I was thrilled when I opened it, and it is now hanging in the corner of my craft room, and certain times of the day it casts the most wonderful shadow.

Another goodie arrived in the mail.  Mike bought me my first iPod ever awhile back, a Nano.  Since then I have become obsessed with it, and sold it to a coworker and ended up with a newer, larger capacity iPod video.  So, of course I needed a cute case...  but since the 5G iPods are so new, there are not many places that have them out yet not to mention a CUTE one.  But somehow, I stumbled upon Technocutie.  Oh, her cases are lovely, I ordered the "Leaf Me Alone" case, and it arrived today and I adore it.  My iPod, <sidetrack>  who by the way I named Cloud since I have this strange need to give everything names - for instance, my external hard drive is named Moss, Tuala has a stuffed Pig, named piggy, even her yellow bone is referred to as "yellow bone" not THE or A yellow bone, but Yellow Bone as it's name </sidetrack> fits in it perfectly.  It is wonderful.

So, my last goodie, that has also been named (Chili since it is Chili Red), is my new (to me) car.  I have been obsessed with Mini Coopers for years (I always wanted a vintage one and then the new ones came out and my love just grew stronger, really strong, to the point of driving everyone around me crazy by pointing out every single Mini I would see "Oh a gold Mini", "ahhh, look at that blue Mini", "Oh, I love that green Mini", etc) sooooo... My Jetta was sucking me dry with repairs (now, the Jetta had no name ironically, when I had it, but now it is fondly referred to as Lemon) and I had to cut my losses... so I traded it in for a 2003 Chili Red Mini Cooper!  Ahhh.  The first car I have ever owned that I actually LOVE.  I dreamed of posting beautiful photographs of shinny Chili - but we got 1 1/2 feet of snow so this is all I can show you for now...

And since I forgot about it and just posted it - here is a photo of Tuala from Christmas, sniffing her stylish Anthropologie stocking!
