{Birthday, Books & Five}

I have come across a new magazine I love and wanted to share.  It is from the UK but only $6 here - it is called Living, Etc and I love it.  Check it out at your local bookstore if you can, I promise that you will in for a treat!

My birthday was wonderful (see my wonderful cake here)- Both Mike and my online friends spoiled me once again, so photos of all of that will follow soon in another post.  For now I will share some books that I received that I had really been wishing for:

I got this wonderful Loretta Lux book, with so many wonderful photographs, her work really captivates me.

I also got this book since I am a Mini owner now and it is very informational and interesting.

And Yvonne surprised me with this book from my amazon wishlist - and it arrived right on time!  (thanks again Yvonne).  Yvonne also posted about where she got the most wonderful fresh eggs sign, and gave a link to Wiscombeart, a seller on eBay.  Well, as soon as I went to their shop I feel in love with this sign, and purchased it- it arrived in time to be a birthday present from myself!

Kathleen "5" tagged me!  So here it goes:

Five minutes to yourself:
Only 5 minutes?  I would get in as much reading of whatever book I currently am engrossed in as I could.

Five bucks to spend right now: how would you spend it?
A home or design magazine

Five items in your house you could part with, right now, that you hadn't thought of already?
Oh boy, this one is tough. Does Dust in places I am too lazy to clean count as one?  I have so many cds I will never listen to again, books I will never read again, dvds I will never watch again - so it would be 5 of them!

Five items you absolutely, positively could never part with in your house?
LeMutt (a stuffed dog I have had sine I was six, he's french!)
My laptop
My camera
All my old paper
My PSP

Five words you love?
Whimsical
Lovely
Truly (posed as a question)
Pamplemousse (which is French for grapefruit, this has always been one of my most favorite words for reasons unknown even to me)
Awkward (absolutely HAS to be said with a English accent)

I am going to do what I always do and tag the first five people who read this - so be honest and comment (if you have already been tagged, you are excused)

Cheers!
